New Lower Fees: 2%, 1.5%, 1% — Plus Extra Rewards for Existing Users

Effective September 30, 2026 at 6:00 AM UTC Major Pricing Update

We're introducing one of the biggest pricing updates in Your Free SOL's history.

Standard service fees are being reduced across supported tools, VIP pricing is becoming much simpler, and the number of accounts or tokens processed in a transaction will no longer affect your standard fee rate.

The new standard structure is simple:

VIP 1 → 2%

VIP 2 → 1.5%

VIP 3 → 1%

We're also rewarding users and referrers who supported Your Free SOL before this change.

Eligible existing active users will receive a one-time VIP level upgrade, existing VIP 3 users will receive a permanent 0.8% legacy service fee, and eligible existing referrers will keep an enhanced referral commission rate based on the previous referral structure.

Existing VIP 3 users receive a permanent 0.8% service fee — lower than the new standard VIP 3 rate of 1%.

New Service Fee Rates

The new standard VIP pricing is:

VIP LevelPrevious Standard RateNew Standard Rate
VIP 1Up to 5%2%
VIP 2Up to 4%1.5%
VIP 3As low as 2%1%

Previously, the exact rate could depend on both your VIP level and, for some tools, the number of eligible accounts or tokens processed in a transaction.

That complexity is being removed.

Under the new structure:

VIP 1 → 2%

VIP 2 → 1.5%

VIP 3 → 1%

Your applicable service fee is shown before you approve a supported transaction.

No More Batch-Based Fee Tiers

Previously, some Your Free SOL tools used different service fee rates depending on how many eligible items were processed in an individual transaction.

For example, processing more accounts or tokens in the same transaction could qualify for a lower fee rate.

That pricing model is being removed.

Your standard service fee is now determined by your VIP level, not by the number of eligible items included in a transaction.

ExampleVIP 1VIP 2VIP 3
Process 1 eligible item2%1.5%1%
Process 5 eligible items2%1.5%1%
Process 10 eligible items2%1.5%1%
Process 20 eligible items2%1.5%1%

Large selections may still be split into multiple transactions for technical reasons such as Solana transaction size and compute limits.

That no longer changes your standard VIP fee rate.

Whether your selection is processed in one transaction or several, your applicable standard VIP percentage remains the same.

Which Tools Use the New Pricing?

The simplified fee structure applies across supported Your Free SOL workflows, including:

  • closing eligible empty token accounts and reclaiming refundable SOL,
  • burning selected tokens and cleaning up eligible resulting accounts,
  • claiming supported Pump.fun and PumpSwap rewards, and
  • reclaiming eligible excess SOL from supported token accounts.

The goal is to make pricing consistent across the platform:

2% → 1.5% → 1%

Your transaction review remains the final source for the exact rate and amount applied to a specific transaction.

VIP Levels Still Reward Long-Term Usage

The three-level VIP system remains.

Your Free SOL tracks qualifying activity across supported tools, including eligible account closures, token burns, supported reward claims, and other qualifying activity counted by the platform.

VIP 1

The starting level for new users.

Standard service fee: 2%

VIP 2

Normally unlocked after reaching 600 cumulative eligible items.

Standard service fee: 1.5%

VIP 3

You can view your current VIP level and progress from your Profile.

Existing Active Users Receive a One-Time VIP Upgrade

We don't want long-time users who supported Your Free SOL under the previous pricing structure to be treated exactly the same as new accounts joining after this update.

Existing users who have already completed at least one recorded transaction through Your Free SOL will therefore receive a one-time VIP level upgrade.

The migration works as follows:

Existing VIP LevelAfter MigrationApplicable Rate
VIP 1VIP 21.5%
VIP 2VIP 31%
VIP 3VIP 3 + Legacy Rate0.8%

This means:

  • an existing active VIP 1 user moves directly to VIP 2,
  • an existing active VIP 2 user moves directly to VIP 3, and
  • an existing VIP 3 user keeps VIP 3 and receives a permanent 0.8% service fee.

Every existing active VIP level receives a meaningful benefit from the migration — either a higher VIP level or a lower permanent service fee.

Your existing eligible activity and progress are not erased by this migration.

Existing VIP 3 Users Receive a Permanent 0.8% Rate

VIP 3 is already the highest standard VIP level, so existing VIP 3 users cannot be upgraded to a higher level.

Instead, they receive a separate legacy benefit.

Users who had already reached VIP 3 before the new pricing structure takes effect receive a permanent:

0.8% service fee

This is lower than the new standard VIP 3 rate of 1%.

The 0.8% rate is a recognition of users who had already reached the highest usage tier before this major pricing change.

New users can still progress normally to VIP 3 and receive the standard 1% rate.

The 0.8% legacy rate is reserved for eligible users who had already reached VIP 3 before the transition.

Why Are Referral Commissions Changing?

Referral commissions are paid from the service fee collected when an eligible referred user completes a supported action.

Under the previous pricing model, service fees were substantially higher, which supported referral commissions ranging from 55% to 85% of the service fee.

With standard fees now dropping to:

2%

1.5%

and

1%

the referral structure also needs to change.

Keeping the previous default commission percentages unchanged across all future users would make the new low-fee structure difficult to sustain while continuing to support infrastructure, RPC services, development, maintenance, monitoring, and security work.

For that reason, the standard referral schedule for new users is being rebalanced.

New Referral Commission Rates

For users entering the referral program under the new structure, commission rates are based on the number of valid referrals associated with the account.

The new schedule is:

Valid ReferralsCommission Rate
020%
5025%
10030%
20032.5%
1,00035%
2,00037.5%
5,00040%

The referral percentage represents the referrer's share of the service fee.

It is not a percentage of the user's total reclaimed SOL or reward amount.

For example, if a transaction generates a 0.02 SOL service fee and the applicable referral commission is 30%:

0.02 SOL × 30% = 0.006 SOL referral commission

The remaining service fee goes to the platform.

Existing Referrers Keep a Higher Legacy Commission Rate

Existing referrers helped grow Your Free SOL under the previous referral system.

We don't want to move those users directly from the previous 55%–85% structure into the new 20%–40% standard schedule.

Instead, eligible existing referrers receive a protected legacy commission rate based on their previous commission tier, with an additional one-tier increase.

The migration is:

Previous Commission TierLegacy Commission Rate
55%60%
60%65%
65%70%
70%75%
75%80%
80%85%
85%85%

The maximum legacy commission remains 85%.

These legacy rates remain separate from the new 20%–40% standard referral schedule.

Eligible existing referrers keep a higher protected commission rate even after the new standard referral schedule takes effect.

Why Give Existing Referrers an Extra Tier?

Existing referrers brought users to Your Free SOL under an earlier pricing and referral model.

Moving them directly into the new 20%–40% structure would significantly reduce the commission percentage they had previously qualified for.

Instead, we're using this transition to recognize that contribution.

Eligible existing referrers receive:

their previous commission tier + one additional tier

up to a maximum of 85%.

This creates two separate referral systems:

Existing eligible referrers

  • protected legacy commission rate,
  • based on the previous referral structure,
  • increased by one tier,
  • capped at 85%.

New referral users

  • new standard commission schedule,
  • based on valid referrals,
  • 20% to 40%.

This allows us to reduce user service fees substantially while continuing to recognize users who helped grow the platform before the change.

Lower Fees Also Change Referral Earnings

Referral commission percentages are only one part of the calculation.

The underlying service fee is now much lower.

Referral earnings are calculated as:

Eligible transaction amount × service fee rate = service fee

Then:

Service fee × referral commission rate = referral earnings

This means an existing referrer may receive a higher percentage than a new referrer while still earning a different absolute amount than under the previous pricing model.

For example, a lower service fee naturally produces a smaller commission base.

We want to make that clear so the percentage changes are not viewed in isolation.

Example: New Referral Structure

Suppose an eligible referred transaction involves 1 SOL and the referred user is VIP 1.

At the new 2% service fee:

1 SOL × 2% = 0.02 SOL service fee

If the referrer has a 30% commission rate:

0.02 SOL × 30% = 0.006 SOL referral commission

The remaining:

0.014 SOL

is the platform portion of the service fee.

The referred user's fee remains 2%.

The referral commission changes only how that service fee is divided.

Example: Existing Referrer With a Legacy Rate

Suppose an eligible existing referrer previously qualified for a 70% commission tier.

After the migration:

70% → 75%

If an eligible referred transaction generates a 0.02 SOL service fee:

0.02 SOL × 75% = 0.015 SOL referral commission

The remaining:

0.005 SOL

is the platform portion.

The legacy commission rate does not add an extra charge to the referred user.

What About Existing Fixed Service Fee Agreements?

Some accounts may already have a fixed service fee assigned under an existing arrangement.

Those fixed rates remain applicable where eligible.

They are separate from the standard VIP schedule.

That means the standard:

VIP level → standard service fee

applies to regular users, while an eligible account with an existing fixed rate continues to use that fixed rate instead.

The new 0.8% legacy VIP 3 rate is also treated as a permanent fixed rate for eligible existing VIP 3 users.

Your applicable rate is shown through the platform and before approving supported transactions.

What Happens to Existing Activity and Progress?

This update does not reset account history.

Your existing eligible activity remains associated with your account.

For eligible existing active users:

  • VIP 1 becomes VIP 2,
  • VIP 2 becomes VIP 3,
  • VIP 3 remains VIP 3 and receives a permanent 0.8% service fee,
  • accumulated eligible activity is retained.

For eligible existing referrers:

  • the previous commission tier is used as the migration basis,
  • the account receives a one-tier increase,
  • the resulting legacy commission rate remains protected,
  • the maximum legacy rate remains 85%.

No action is required from eligible users for these migration adjustments.

What Changes for New Users?

New users joining after the new pricing structure takes effect begin under the new standard system.

VIP

New users start at:

VIP 1 → 2%

and can progress normally to:

VIP 2 → 1.5%

and:

VIP 3 → 1%

Referrals

New referral users follow the new:

20% → 40%

commission schedule based on valid referrals.

The one-time VIP upgrade, permanent 0.8% legacy VIP 3 rate, and legacy referral commission protections are transition benefits for eligible existing accounts.

Before and After

The overall update can be summarized as follows:

AreaPrevious StructureNew Structure
VIP 1 service feeUp to 5%2%
VIP 2 service feeUp to 4%1.5%
VIP 3 service feeAs low as 2%1%
Existing VIP 3 usersPrevious VIP 3 pricingPermanent 0.8% legacy rate

Existing active VIP 2VIP 2VIP 3
Existing active VIP 3VIP 3VIP 3 + permanent 0.8% rate
Existing eligible referrerPrevious commission tierPrevious tier +1, capped at 85%

The result is a simpler and significantly lower standard pricing model, while existing active users and referrers receive additional transition benefits.

Why We're Making This Change

Your Free SOL has grown beyond a single account-closing tool.

Today, supported workflows include:

  • reclaiming refundable SOL from eligible empty token accounts,
  • burning unwanted tokens,
  • wallet cleanup,
  • claiming supported Pump.fun and PumpSwap rewards,
  • reclaiming eligible excess SOL.

As the platform expanded, the pricing model accumulated different fee rules across tools and transaction sizes.

We want the standard pricing model to be easier to understand.

Instead of thinking about both VIP level and transaction size, users can now focus primarily on one thing:

their VIP level.

At the same time, the substantial reduction in service fees requires the referral system to evolve as well.

The new structure is designed to make lower fees sustainable while still recognizing users and referrers who supported Your Free SOL before the transition.

What You Should Expect

For most users, the biggest change is simple:

you keep more of the SOL or supported rewards processed through Your Free SOL.

You should also see the same standard percentage even when your selection is automatically split across multiple transactions.

Existing active users may see their VIP level increase.

Existing VIP 3 users receive a permanent 0.8% fee.

Existing eligible referrers retain a higher protected legacy commission rate.

New users begin under the new standard VIP and referral systems.

As always, review the applicable service fee, expected amounts, and transaction details before approving a transaction in your wallet.

Our Commitment to Sustainable, Transparent Pricing

Lower fees are only meaningful if they can remain sustainable.

This update is designed to make Your Free SOL more competitive for users while maintaining enough revenue to continue supporting infrastructure, RPC services, development, maintenance, monitoring, and security work.

It also reflects two commitments:

lower and simpler pricing for users going forward

and

additional recognition for the users and referrers who supported the platform earlier.

That is why we're reducing standard fees to 2%, 1.5%, and 1%, giving eligible existing users a one-time VIP upgrade, granting existing VIP 3 users a permanent 0.8% rate, and preserving enhanced legacy referral commission rates for eligible existing referrers.

Thank you for using and supporting Your Free SOL.
